Industrial facilities in France

The plant of la Mothe Achard in France is the technical center of SMOM group.

The company designs and manufactures various types of dies  (transfer, tandem, transferized, reworking). But it is specializing in design and manufacturing  of complex dies from 2 to 4 meters.

Design department is composed of:

  • 11 layout designers specialised and using stamping simulation
  • 18 machines and die designers

The department has a capacity of:

  • 27 000 hours / year for studies
  • 16 500 hours / year for process layouts

The plant is equipped with:

  • 17 stations CATIA V5 & 2 stations AUTOFORM
  • 3 WORK NC licenses & 2 SPIRIT licenses & 4 NC BRAIN licenses

Our plant has a 170 000 hours / year production capacity.
It owns high speed machining centers and tryout presses from 250T to 1200T with feeder.
